What's going on?

Nobody knows! The world is big, complex and often difficult to understand. But this website isn't, so why not start with that?

Ok then, what is this?

A small corner of the internet, created so that I could learn more about building a website and coding - because it seemed like that would be fun. (Spoiler: it is). I hope I make something that I will enjoy visiting in the future, even if this does seem painfully outdated by then and makes me wonder "what were they thinking?". (Answer: thoughts, mostly (sometimes the occasional insight, but not often)).
